When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has already filed a writ petition in W.P(MD)No.1363 of 2019, seeking to consider his request for promotion to the post of Executive Engineer, wherein, this Court has passed an order, directing the first respondent therein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.05.2016, in the light of the proposal dated 09.07.2016, sent by the second respondent.

2.In view of the submission so made and also in view of the order passed in W.P(MD)No.1363 of 2019 dated 20.02.2019, no further order is required in this Writ Petition and the same is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, WMP(MD)No.14846 of 2017 is closed.
