This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondent to dispose of the application of the petitioner dated 26.09.2017 under Section 144(5) Cr.P.C. on the file of the respondent.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous, as the application of the petitioner dated 26.09.2017 itself had already been disposed of by the respondent by proceedings dated 09.10.2017 in Na.Ka.C2/44357/2017 and a copy of the same has also been produced before this Court. The said submission is recorded.

3. In view of the above submission, this Court is of the
