ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., to transfer the pending investigation in Crime No. 123 of 2023 on the file of the third respondent to fourth respondent or any other competent officer to conduct further investigation in accordance with law within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that based upon the complaint given by the petitioner, the third respondent police registered the FIR in Crime No.123 of 2023 and thereafter the private respondents continuously threatened the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner made representation to the respondent police and the same was not considered and no steps have been taken. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered FIR in Crime No.123 of 2023 and the investigation is in progress. He further submitted that the complaint has been given only on 30.04.2023 and hence, he seeks time to file a final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No123 of 2023 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
