ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A5 apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 147, 294(b), 353, 506(ii), 307, 379 of IPC and Section 21(1) of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act 1957 in Crime No.475 of 2020, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 14.07.2021 at about 06.00 a.m, when the Village Administrative Officer and his assistant one Kannadasan engaged in preventing the offence relating Mines and Minerals, they found the tractor and lorry along with the accused persons in a suspicious manner. On seeing them, the accused attempted to run over the vehicle on the Village Administrative Officer and escaped from the scene of occurrence. Therefore, this case came to be registered.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

CRL OP(MD). No.11791 of 2021 4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that investigation is yet to be completed.

5.Considering the nature of allegations as against this petitioner and the petitioner has also attempted to run over the vehicle on the Government officials, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
