O R D E R

This petition has been filed for directing the respondents to remove the petitioner's name in the History Sheet in H.S.No.24 of 2016 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.09.2020.

2.The petitioner would state that originally two criminal cases were registered against him one in Crime No.1259/2016 under Sections 294(b), 323, 354, 506(ii) IPC and Section 4 of the Women Harassment Act which has been ended in acquittal by judgment dated 06.02.2019 in C.C.No.83 of 2018 on the file of Judicial Magistrate Additional Mahila Court, Madurai, and another case was filed under Section 75 of the Chennai City Civil Act, in which, fine amount was paid by the petitioner. He would further state that now the 2nd respondent has filed a case against the petitioner while he was working in Corona duty (Covid-19) in Madurai Corporation. Therefore, his name was included in the history sheet maintained by the 2nd respondent. According to the petitioner, history sheet has to be reviewed once in a year, but though his name was included in the history sheet in 2016, even after three years, still his name is continuing therein without any review. Therefore, the petitioner has approached the respondents on 16.09.2020 to remove his name from https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Since there was no response, he has filed this petition. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.09.2020 made through post and in person and pass appropriate orders within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
