ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent Police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that based on the complaint given by the second respondent, the respondent Police is harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police submits that on the complaint given by the second respondent on 15.06.2024, petition enquiry is pending in CSR No.147 of 2024.
4. The complaint of the second respondent dated 15.06.2024, prima facie, appears to be civil in nature. In the event, if a criminal case is made out against the petitioner during the enquiry, the 2/4
respondent police shall register the First Information Report and proceed further. The respondent Police shall not harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.
