The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a writ of certiorari to quash the order, dated 25.09.2020, passed by the fourth respondent, whereby and whereunder the petitioner was transferred from the Central Library, Thanjavur to Manambuchavadi Library.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that though the petitioner had initially challenged the impugned transfer order on several grounds, now he has accepted the same by joining in Manambuchavadi Library and therefore, the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.

3. Recording the above submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (w) // True Copy // / /2021 Sub Assistant Registrar(CS) krk Note :
