ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner is in judicial custody since 09.09.2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1), (aaa), 4 (1-A) of TNP Act and 420 I.P.C, in Crime No.83 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police. She seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 09.09.2018 at about 12.00 noon while the defacto complainant along with police party was on patrolling near E.Kovilpatti, the petitioner attempted to run with a white gunny bag, she was caught hold by the police party and on enquiry, she gave voluntarily confession stating that her husband Venkateshwaran and his friend Oddanchatram Raja were purchased liquor bottles from Pondichery and sent the same through Auto Driver namely Ravi, that she was took the police to the backside of her house and identified the bottles with foul smell without any permit or license for the purpose of retail sales. Hence, the compliant.

4.Considering the above facts and circumstances and also considering the period of incarceration of the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail subject to the following conditions:

(i) the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties, each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Nilakkottai.
