Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to grant permission for the temple festival which is to be celebrated on 28.06.2024 and to provide adequate police protection, based on the petitioner's representation dated 10.06.2024 and 19.06.2024. ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection for conducting the temple festival, which is scheduled to be held on 28.06.2024.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the private respondents are raising certain objections with regard to the conduct of temple festival and therefore, the petitioner seeks police protection for conducting the temple festival, which falls on 28.06.2024. In this regard, 2/4

the petitioner has also made representations dated 10.06.2024 and 19.06.2024 before the respondents Police.

3. Considering the fact that the temple festival falls on 28.06.2024, the respondents Police are directed to consider the petitioner's representations and take a decision in accordance with law, after considering the case of the private respondents.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
