This contempt petition is filed that the order of this Court in Crl.OP(MD) No.17017 of 2023, dated 25.09.2023 has not been complied with.

2.Today(16.07.2024), when this contempt petition is taken up for hearing, The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submits that after completion of investigation, the final report has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Vadipatti on 25.10.2023. According to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the case was closed as ''mistake of fact'' and the RCS Notice in RCS No.128 of 2024 was also served on the petitioner on 09.07.2024. RCS Notice along with the petitioner's endorsement is also placed before this Court. 3.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this contempt petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy, by filing a protest petition before the concerned Magistrate Court, if he is aggrieved within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
