2.Heard Mr.P.Ganapathi Subramanian, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.H.Arumugam, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

3.The present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose the appeal preferred by the petitioner as against the orders of dismissal passed by the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.8117/2016/R.V.Z, dated 30.06.2017 and permit the petitioner to join duty at once with back wages. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner did not attend the hearing on 07.08.2017 and the next hearing is posted on 23.10.2017. The learned counsel for the petitioner, in turn, states that the petitioner would attend the next hearing on 23.10.2017 and subsequent hearings without fail and co-operate for completing the enquiry, expeditiously.

5.Recording the aforesaid statements made by the learned standing counsel appearing for both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to complete the enquiry and take a final decision in the matter and pass a reasoned order on merits and in accordance with law and communicate the same to the petitioner and report compliance of the same to the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court on or before 31.12.2017. No costs.
