ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] It is the case of the petitioner that his mother K.Oyyammal, aged about 85 years went missing on 19.10.2012 and that her whereabouts are not known.

2. Today, Mr.Dhakshinamoorty, [Mobile No.8300001805], Special Sub-Inspector of Police, Kalaiyar Kovil Police Station, Sivagangai, is present before this Court.

3. On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Kalaiyar Kovil Police Station has been registered in Crime No.203 of 2013 for 'women missing' and thereafter, the case has been closed as 'undetected'. It is not the case of the petitioner that his mother is in the illegal custody of the respondents

herein for the issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus.. Hence, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
