For Respondent : Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.70 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence under Sections 294(b), 323, 506(ii) and 109 of IPC in Crime No.70 of 2024, on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that due to previous enmity, the petitioner 1/3

along with other accused assaulted the defacto complainant with a wooden log. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent and he did not commit any offence as alleged by the prosecution. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent submits that totally 16 previous cases are pending as against this petitioner, 9 of them are the proceedings initiated under Section 107 Cr.P.C. 5.Considering the nature of offence and the antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
