ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent Officer Surveyor to survey the Survey No.2035/4 in Reddiapatty in the Village of Keelarajakularaman of Vembakottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District as per representation dated 04/07/2018.

2.Heard Mr.S.Ravichandran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Bhagawathy, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

4.The petitioner, in order to survey and identify the boundaries of the land in Survey No.2035/4 at Reddiapatty in the Village of Keelarajakularaman of Vembakottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District, made a representation to the respondents on 04.07.2018. Hence, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that, if the said representation is decided by the 1st respondent, on merits within a time frame, the petitioner would be satisfied. 5.I have heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that, the said representation of the petitioner dated 04.07.2018 would be considered by the 1st respondent on merits, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

W.P.(MD)No.17182 of 2019 6.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following direction:

"The 1st respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.07.2018 and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

7.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
