When the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous, as the impugned transfer order passed by the second respondent has been cancelled. Therefore, nothing further survives for adjudication in the present writ petition.
