ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 379 of IPC r/w 21(1) of Mines and 1/3

Minerals (Development and Regulations) Act, 1957, in Crime No.299 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner has illegally transported 1⁄4 unit of river sand in a bullock cart.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) has raised serious objections and submits that the petitioner has involved in three previous cases, out of which, two cases are similar in nature.

5.Considering the nature of offence and the antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. sd/- 25/06/2024 / TRUE COPY / /07/2024 Sub-Assistant Registrar ( C.S.
