Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner representation dated 23.07.2017 and regularize the petitioner service by granting selection grade and special grade in the cadre of Head Constable and as Sub-Inspector of Police from the year 1989 and sanction all consequential monetary benefits to the petitioner.

O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner representation dated 23.07.2017 and regularize the petitioner service by granting selection grade and special grade in the cadre of Head Constable and as Sub-Inspector of Police from the year 1989 and sanction all consequential monetary benefits to the petitioner.

2.Heard Mr.M.Karthikeyavenkitachalapathy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.K.Baskara Pandian, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

correctness or entitlement of the claim made, directs the second respondent to dispassionately consider the representation dated 23.07.2017 made by the petitioner and pass reasoned orders on merits in accordance with law and communicate the same to the petitioner and file a report of such compliance before the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court on or before 31.12.2017. 4.With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
