PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to appoint the petitioner as driver, based on the interview conducted on 06.11.2020 by considering the representation dated 27.12.2021 within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2.This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to appoint the petitioner as driver, based on the interview conducted on 06.11.2020, by considering the representation dated 27.12.2021.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that he is not pressing this writ petition as against the respondents 1 to 4. Therefore, this writ 2/6
petition against the respondents 1 to 4 is dismissed as not pressed. It is further submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that in pursuance to the call letter for attending interview for the post of Driver in the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department on 06.07.2020, she appeared for the interview and she is waiting for the appointment order. Since no appointment order was received by her till now, she submitted a representation on 27.12.2021 to appoint her as a Driver. Even then, no order was passed on the representation. Hence, the present writ petition.
4.Heard Mr.S.C.Herold Singh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.D.Farjana Ghousia, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
5.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner restricts the prayer that the it would be suffice, if the petitioner's representation is considered. 6.Considering the fact that the petitioner appeared for interview for the appointment to the post of Driver and that till now, no order has been passed with 3/6
regard to the appointment, considering the limited prayer now sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, this Court directs the fifth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.12.2021 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
