ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, seeking a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to survey and fix the boundaries of the land in Survey Nos. 148/8F1, 148/8D, 148/8B8 and 148/8G belonging to the petitioner situated at Vaiyampatti village Manapparai Taluk, Trichy district within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard both sides.

3.By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

4.The petitioner, alleging that some third parties are trying to encroach her land in question, sent several representations to the respondents, requesting to survey and mark the boundaries in respect of her land and also paid necessary charges twice. Despite the same, no action is taken by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

6.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for in this writ petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.10.2015 and 21.06.2017, upon production of all the required documents and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other interested parties, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
