O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by M.VENUGOPAL, J.] The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition praying this Court for passing of an order in directing the respondents 1
to 5 to commence the pure science group in the respondent No.5School higher secondary curriculum, within the time to be determined by this Court.
2.Heard both sides.
3.By consent, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
4.It comes to be known that the Petitioner along with other residence had made a representation on 30.08.2017 to the respondents 1 to 4 to commence the pure science group in the fifth respondent-School. But the same was not considered till date.
5.At this juncture, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 brings it to the notice of this Court that the second respondent had issued proceedings, dated 02.05.2011 specifying guidelines 1 to 7 to be looked into and sent proposals thereto by the third respondent. Furthermore, the third respondent/The Chief Educational Officer, Pudukkottai District had issued proceedings, dated 22.10.2017 addressed to the fifth respondent/The Headmaster, Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Pon Pudhupatti, Ponnamaravathi, Pudukkottai District (with a copy being marked to the Tamil Nadu School Education Joint Director(Higher Education), Chennai-6), whereby and where-under, an advisory was issued on 2.5.
2011 was to be adhered to and two copies of proposal, in case, it was submitted, then appropriate permission and necessary orders would be issued. 6.In view of the fore-goings, the fifth respondent is directed to send proposal in the subject-matter in issue through the third respondent addressed to the second respondent within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and to seek further redressal of the grievance in the manner known to law and in accordance with law. The entire exercise shall be completed by the authorities concerned within a period of four weeks thereafter.
7.With the above said observation(s) and direction(s), the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
