ORDER

The Writ Petitioner has sought for a direction to the second respondent to include the petitioner in the panel for promotion to the post of Deputy Director of Sericulture for the year 2017. 2.Heard Mr.T.Lajapathi Roy, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Sathish Kumar, the learned Additional Government Pleader, who has taken notice for the respondents and perused the records and the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3.Though the petitioner has sought for a larger relief, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice if the representation made by the petitioner to the second is disposed of. He has also made an endorsement to that effect. 4.In view of the submission and endorsement so made, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to dispassionately consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 15.09.2017, and pass reasoned orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law and communicate such decision to the petitioner and file a report of such compliance before the Registrar (Judicial), Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai on or before 30.11.2017. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
