Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to directing the respondents to pay 18% interest for the belated payment of terminal benefits of P.F., Gratuity, Unavailed leave salary and Commutation, payable to the petitioner from the date of his retirement i.e. 30.04.2018 to till the date of actual payment made to him and all other attendant benefits within the stipulated period.

Sub A.(MD).No.294 of 2021 upon hearing the arguments of MR.J.SENTHIL KUMARAIAH, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.A.K.THANGAVELU, Advocate on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- Mr.J.Senthil Kumaraiah, learned counsel takes notice for the petitioner/ first contemnor and Mr.A.K.Thangavelu, learned counsel takes notice for the first respondent/petitioner.
2. This Sub Application has been filed by the petitioner/ first contemnor seeking six months time for reporting compliance of the order passed by this Court.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner/ first contemnor seeks four weeks time to comply with the order of this Court. 4.In view of the above, four weeks time is granted to comply with the order of this Court. However, it is made clear that in case, the petitioner/contemnors fail to comply with the order passed by this Court, a statutory notice will be issued against them on the next hearing date.
