This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents to disburse the insurance amount, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 22.11.2016. 2.The case of the petitioner is that he is an agriculturist and a member of the third respondent society. He has insured his crops and paid insurance amount of Rs.8,950/-. The District authority declared the petitioner's village as drought and hence, he has given a representation dated 22.11.2016 to the respondents to get benefits under the Crops Insurance Scheme and the same is kept pending unnecessarily, without passing any orders. petitioner is before this Court with the above mentioned prayer. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.11.2016 and pass appropriate orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
