ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed directing the second respondent to conduct a preliminary enquiry by considering the petitioner's representation dated 04.05.2022.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that there was a dispute between the petitioner and the accused persons who are residing adjacent to the petitioner. The accused persons brutally attacked the petitioner and his son. Under such circumstances, a complaint dated 21.06.2022 has been lodged by the petitioner against the accused persons and C.S.R receipt in C.S.R.No.622 of 2022 was also issued. But till date no case has been registered against the accused persons. Since no action was taken, the present Criminal Original Petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that a complaint has been received and C.S.R.No.622 of 2022 was also issued to that effect and the petition is under enquiry. 2/4

4. Recording the same, this Court directs the second respondent police to conduct the enquiry in C.S.R.No.622 of 2022 and complete it within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
