Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to sanction the electricity connection, on the basis of the petitioner's application, dated 27.03.2017.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide electricity service connection, to the petitioner's pump set, situate in his agricultural land, based on his application, dated 27.03.2017. 2.Heard both sides.

dated 27.03.2017 and 28.04.2017 to the respondents 1 and 2, respectively, seeking electricity service connection, to his pump set situate in his agricultural land and the same has not been provided to him on the ground that the adjacent land owner has not permitted to draw pole from his land. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice, if the applications of the petitioner, 27.03.2017 and 28.04.2017, are directed to be considered by the respondents 1 and 2, as per law.

5.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the applications of the petitioner dated 27.03.2017 and 28.04.2017, and pass appropriate orders on its own merit and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, including the third respondent, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The writ petition is disposed of as above.
