ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the second respondent to file a final report in Crime No.44 of 2023 before the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppuvanam, within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.44 of 2023 and that the investigation is in progress. Hence, he seeks two months time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court. 2/4

Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the second respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.44 of 2023 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of two months from today (i.e.,16.06.2023).

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
