ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry, in connection with Crime No.568 of 2018, on the file of the second respondent Police.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the first petitioner's son, namely Aravind Kumar was working in a private company and he has eloped with one Meena, who is aged about 18 years old. He would further submit that on a complaint given by the parents of the said Meena, the petitioners are being unnecessarily harassed by the respondent police. He would also submit that the parents of the girl also filed a petition in H.C.P.No.47 of 2018 and a case was also registered in Crime No.568 of 2018, under the caption woman missing. He would further submit that the petitioners also not aware whereabouts of the said Aravind Kumar.

3.The Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the son of the first petitioner has eloped with one girl and that the petitioners were called for enquiry. Other than that the respondent Police are not harassing the petitioners.

4.Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
