Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to call for the records relating to the order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Valliyoor in C.C.No.70/2014 dated 09.04.2016 in which imposed sentence to the petitioner for 6 months Rigorous Imprisonment and to pay compensation of cheque amount of Rs.3,40,000/- under section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act which was modified as the sentence of 6 months is reduced to 2 months and default sentence for nonpayment of compensation imposed by the trial court reduced to one month and all other aspects the judgment and sentence of trial court stands confirmed in C.A.No.36/2016 passed by 1st Additional District and Sessions Judge, Tirunelveli set aside the same and allow this Revisiion Petition.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.C.SUSI KUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.Sankar Ganesh Advocate on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- Admit.

2.Mr.Sankar Ganesh, learned counsel takes notice for the respondent.

3.The learned counsel appearing on either side made a request to refer the matter to mediation for settlement. 4.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this matter is referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre attached to this Bench, for mediation. Hence, both parties are directed to appear before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre attached to this Bench.
