Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 & 2 to conduct Common State Level written examination as per Rule 6 of the Tamil Nadu Special Police Youth Brigade Rules 2013 and by considering the petitioners representation dated 17.06.2017 & 16.09.2017 within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to conduct Common State Level written examination as per Rule 6 of the Tamil Nadu Special Police Youth Brigade Rules 2013 and by considering the petitioners representation dated 17.06.2017 & 16.09.2017 within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2.The learned Additional Advocate General would submit that on instructions that a notification bearing C.No.R2/1957/2017 dated 26.10.2017 has been issued by the first respondent for conducting the Written examination for Absorption of Tamilnadu Special Youth Brigade into Tamilnadu Special Police Battalions in terms of G.O. (Ms.)No.615, Home (Pol.14) Department dated 20.08.2015 by which the Amendment to Rule 6 of Tamilnadu Special Police Youth Bridge rules, 2013, has been made for the absorption of member of the youth brigade who have completed one year service in the youth brigade and successfully completed training in all the areas in Tamilnadu Special Police Battalion by conducting a common state leave written examination. The Written examination has been proposed to be conducted chennai on 30.11.2017.
