Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to replace the existing bus under Registration No. TN 52 B 1198 to the bus under Registration No.TN 49 AQ 7677 under Chasis No. MB1PBEYC9DEYK9445 Engine No.DYEZ405741 for the bus running from Pattukottai to Ooriyur and Pattukottai to Meemisal on the basis of the Petitioner's representations dated 19.06.2019 and 04.07.2019 within the time limit fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner has preferred the above writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent to replace the existing bus bearing Registration No.TN 52 B 1198 to the bus bearing Registration No.TN 49 AQ 7677, under Chasis No.MB1PBEYC9DEYK9445, Engine No.DYEZ405741 for the bus running from Pattukottai to Ooriyur and Pattukottai to Meemisal.

2.On receipt of the notice in the above writ petition, the Regional Transport Officer, Thanjavur has sent a communication to the Government Pleader stating that if any application is filed by the petitioner, the respondent is ready to consider the same and pass appropriate orders for replacement of bus. The said letter dated 07.08.2019 is taken on record.

3.Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to submit an application afresh with the respondent. On such application being filed by the petitioner, the respondent shall consider and pass https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)No.15597 of 2019 orders on the application for replacement of bus, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
