Respondents Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the fourth respondent herein to convene the peace committee meeting by affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the representative of all the three villagers, namely, Keelarangiyam Colony, Chochanathiruppu Colony and Panayanenthal Colony including the respondents 6 to 9 herein and redress the petitioner's grievance by allowing the female family members who want to perform Sami Aduthal for Sree Rakkayee Amman by taking the Sacred Box of Amman on the temple festival of Sree Karuppanasamy and Sree Rakkayee Amman temple situated at Keelarangiyam Village, Thirupuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District which is scheduled on 13.07.2022 to 17.07.2022 without there being any discrimination among the villagers on the basis of the petitioner's representation made before the fourth respondent by RPAD dated 02.07.2022.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 5.

When the matter was taken up, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents states that the festival is to be held only from 13.07.2022 to 17.07.2022 and peace committee meeting will be convened on 10.07.2022 by the fourth respondent Tahsildar, Thiruppuvanam Taluk.

3. Recording the said submission, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
