(Respondent No.4 is suo-motu impleaded as per order of this Court dated 09.06.2023 in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.10046 of 2023) PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to issue a direction to transfer the investigation in some other agency to conduct further enquiry on the complaint made by the petitioner dated 22.05.2023 (In C.S.R.No.385 of 2023) on the file of the third respondent within time stipulated by this Court.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has filed a complaint against her husband and father-in-law, however, the respondent Police have not taken any action on the complaint and sought for transfer on the ground that her father-in-law against whom the petitioner has filed a complaint is working as a Special Sub Inspector of Police.

3. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

4. In view of the above, the respondent Police are directed to dispose of C.S.R.385 of 2023 as quickly as possible not later than two weeks from the 2/4

date of receipt of a copy of this order and let the enquiry be supervised by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Dindigul District / respondent No.2.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
