ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to forbear the respondents 3 to 5 from granting promotion to the sixth respondent in the post of Headmaster and to promote the petitioner in the post of Headmaster by granting approval to the promotion order issued by the fifth respondent, dated 27.05.2016.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the proposal of the fifth respondent to appoint the petitioner as Headmaster in the fifth respondent school has been dropped and the fifth respondent has passed an order, granting promotion to the sixth respondent in the post of Headmaster and the same has been challenged before this Court in WP(MD)No.3203 of 2018. Therefore, the relief sought in the present writ petition has become infructuous. 3.Recording the aforesaid submission, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, WMP(MD)Nos.1550 of 2017 and WMP(MD)No.1433 of 2018 are closed.
