PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 28.03.2023.
ORDER
The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction against the respondent / The Special District Revenue Officer, (Land Acquisition Officer), National Highways 209, Dindigul District, to consider the representation given by the petitioner dated 28.03.2023.
2. The petitioner is the owner of the lands in Survey No.243/2 at Amarapoondi Village, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District, measuring 1.36.00 Hectares. The lands are subject matter of acquisition. The petitioner had planted Coconut trees, Guava trees, Lemon trees and other fruit yielding trees. The petitioner seeks that the trees should be properly valued in accordance with the guidelines given in the Act. 2/4
3. I am confident that the respondent would follow necssary guidelines. Even otherwise, if an award is passed which is not to the satisfaction of the petitioner then, again under the provisions of the Act, the petitioner can proceed further to question and challenge the same.
4. Recording as above, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
