O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to take steps to enter the settlement/gift deed executed by the petitioner in the relevant survey land register.

2.The petitioner wanted to develop the property and for the purpose of getting a sanction from the respondent corporation, executed settlement/gift deed in favour of the corporation. According to the petitioner, this settlement is not reflected in the survey land register. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation dated 28.11.2019 in this regard and since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

3.In the considered view of this Court, the entry to be made in the survey land register cannot be done by the respondent corporation. It can be made only by the concerned revenue authority. In view of the same, it is left to the petitioner to make a representation before the concerned revenue authority seeking for the entry to be made in the 2/4

survey land register. The concerned authority on receipt of the representation shall verify the same from the respondent corporation and make necessary entries in the survey land register. This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
