This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to process the petitioner's application dated 06.10.2016 for upgradation of the petitioner's Matriculation School to Higher Secondary School based on the recommendation of the second respondent by his proceedings vide Na.Ka.No.275/A1/2016, dated 21.11.2016.
2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner school got recognition till 10th standard and in order to upgrade the school upto 12th standard, the petitioner sent an application to the respondents on 06.10.2016. Pursuant to the same, the second respondent has inspected the school premises and recommended for upgradation of the petitioner's school to the first respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
vide communication dated 21.11.2016, but the same is still pending without any progress. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.
3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that if a reasonable time is granted to the respondents, the representation of the petitioner will be considered and suitable orders will be passed. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 06.10.2016 in line with the recommendation of the second respondent dated 21.11.2016 and pass appropriate orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving due opportunity to the petitioner.
6.With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
