ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the first Respondent to transfer the investigation from third respondent and to appoint some other investigation officer for conducting the enquiry in the case in Crime No.176 of 2024 on the file of third Respondent police.

2. The petitioner submitted that the petitioner herein is the de facto complainant who lodged the complaint with respect to the accident suffered by the petitioner himself and a FIR in crime No.176 of 2024 was registered. However, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence this petition.

3. Learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) submitted that the investigation is properly carried out and the same will be concluded within a period of four weeks.

In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side), this Court directs the third respondent police to expedite the investigation and complete the same within a period of four weeks. The second respondent is directed to monitor the investigation, being conducted by the third respondent police and the third respondent police is directed to appraise the progress in the investigation every Friday to the second respondent.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
