Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to promote the petitioner to the post of BT Assistant (Maths) in the vacancies at Panchayat Union Middle School, Chinthamanipatti, in Kadavur Union, Karur District or any other schools in Kadavur Union, Karur District as per the panel for promotion as on 01.01.2017 issued by the 2nd respondent herein in accordance with the G.O.Ms.No.239, dated 22.09.2007 without any delay.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition is field seeking to direct the respondents to promote the petitioner to the post of BT Assistant (Maths) in the vacancies at Panchayat Union Middle School, Chinthamanipatti, in Kadavur Union, Karur District or any other schools in Kadavur Union, Karur District as per the panel for promotion as on 01.01.2017 issued by the 2nd respondent herein in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.239, dated 22.09.2007 without any delay.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents filed a counter affidavit and submitted that now, the petitioner's cause of action is changed due to the new promotion panel, dated 01.01.2018 and as per the said panel, before the petitioner, three teachers are there in the seniority. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. In view of the said submission, this Writ Petition is closed, however, with liberty to the petitioner to approach the authority concerned with a fresh representation for appropriate relief. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
