ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 27.02.2012, 07.08.2013 and 08.08.2013 in accordance with law. 2.By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.It is the grievance of the petitioner that he has made representations dated 27.02.2012, 07.08.2013 and 08.08.2013 before the respondents seeking to grant promotion to the post of Junior Assistant (Accounts). Though the 2nd respondent, by proceedings dated 19.06.2018, has forwarded the petitioner's representations to the 1st respondent to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law, so far no action has been taken. Hence, the present writ petition.

4.In reply, Mr.T.Sakthikumaran, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would fairly submit that based on the recommendation made by the 2nd respondent, dated 19.06.2018, the petitioner's representations dated 27.02.2012, 07.08.2013 and 08.08.2013 will be disposed of on merits and in accordance with law, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.15103 of 2020 within a period of eight weeks.

5.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 27.02.2012, 07.08.2013 and 08.08.2013 and pass appropriate orders, based on the recommendation made by the 2nd respondent, dated 19.06.2018, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, without making any further delay in its decision making process. 6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
