ORDER
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.
2. By the impugned order, the petitioner has been transferred from Melur branch to Thiruparankunram branch.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner reiterated all the contentions set out in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition. He submitted that at the instance of the private respondents herein the impugned order has been passed. He also drew my attention to the earlier order passed by this Court on 01.02.2022 in W.P(MD)No.18448 of 2021 (Sathiyaraja Vs The General Manager & Others). He called upon this Court to set aside the impugned order and allow the writ petition.

4. I am not persuaded by the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner. As rightly pointed out by the learned Standing Counsel, transfer is an incident of service. The impugned order does not cast any stigma on the petitioner. The occurrence referred to by the petitioner had taken place wayback in September 2021. The petitioner cannot cite the very same occurrence as a shield against any administrative action that may be taken. The petitioner admittedly is working in Melur branch for fifteen years. Thiruparankunram is not too far. Since the order has been passed on administration grounds, I do not find any reason to interfere.
5. This writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 09.06.2023 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No NCC : Yes / No MGA To 1.The General Manager, Madurai Division, Madurai Limited, Bypass Road, Madurai - 625 016.
