ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to permit the petitioner in street vending in NSC Bose Road, Trichy based on the representation dated 29.08.2017.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been a street vendor in the NSC https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Bose Road, Trichy for about fifty years and has a valid license for the same. While so, the second respondent is restraining the petitioner from street vending on the instigation of the fourth respondent. Hence, the petitioner sent a representation to the first and second respondents expressing her grievances and permission for continuing her business. However, no action has been taken on her representation. The petitioner, being an illiterate, has come before this Court, seeking appropriate direction to the respondents in respect of her business activities.

3. Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader on instructions submitted that there is no intervention of the official respondents in the street vending activities of the petitioner.

4.Under such circumstances, this Court is of the view that there is no merit in the writ petition. Further, if any third parties other than the official respondents harass the petitioner, it is always open to the petitioner to approach competent civil court for appropriate remedy.
