ORDER
The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to instruct the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.01.2017 in the light of the transfer policy guideline vide circular No.543-2016-BC-PD-82-IRD dated 30.12.2016 and transfer the petitioner to anyone of the places viz. Theni, Bodinayakanur, Periyakulam and Cumbum in Theni District.
2.The petitioner submits that he has made a request for transfer as his wife is suffering from Cancer and undergoing treatment. It is submitted that his case may be considered and his representation may be considered favourably.

made a request not once but twice and the same has been rejected initially on 23.09.2016 and thereafter again on 20.12.2016. The first request of the petitioner dated 05.08.2016 was rejected on 23.09.2016 and another request dated 14.10.2016 was rejected on 20.12.2016. However, his request can be considered as per the transfer policy.
4.In view of the above submission, without going into the merits of the case, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.01.2017 in the light of the transfer policy guideline vide circular No.543-2016-BC-PD-82-IRD dated 30.12.2016 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, if there are no legal impediments within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner within the time stipulated supra.
