O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuing a direction to the respondent herein to approve forthwith the promotion of one A.Jeyalakshmi as BT Assistant (Tamil) in the petitioner's School from 28.06.2017 onwards, with salary and other attendant benefits.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, who submitted that it would suffice, if the proposal submitted by the petitioner's school seeking approval of promotion granted to the said A. Jeyalakshmi, is directed to be considered by the respondent, for which, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, has no serious objection.

3. In view of the said submission made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the proposal made by the petitioners' school, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
