This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's petition No.314/2017 dated 12.01.2017 requesting to take necessary action to rectify the mistakes committed in Patta No.945 relating to the property bearing S.No.184/2C situated at Mallapuram Village, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District and to issue fresh patta to the petitioner for the above said property.
2.The case of the petitioner is that patta has been granted to the petitioner for the above mentioned property, in which, the extent of property and names of the petitioner as well as his father have been wrongly mentioned. Hence, he has given a representation dated 12.01.2017 to the first respondent. Since no action has been taken on the said representation, the petitioner is before this https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Court with the above prayer.
3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that if a reasonable time is granted to the respondents, the representation of the petitioner will be considered and suitable orders will be passed.
5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to consider the petition No.314/2017 dated 12.01.2017 and pass appropriate orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
