Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent i.e., the Secretary to Government, Rural Government and Panchayat Raj Department, Chennai to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 03.07.2017 regarding grant of exemption from the condition mentioned in the Special Rule 3 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayat Development Subordinate Service, within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Court. This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to pass an appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 03.07.2017 regarding the grant of exemption from the condition mentioned in the Special Rule 3 of Tamil Nadu Panchayat Development Subordinate Service. 2.Heard, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

this Court, without expressing any view on the correctness or entitlement of the claim made, directs the second respondent to dispassionately consider the application dated 03.07.2017 made by the petitioner and pass reasoned orders on merits in accordance with law and communicate the same to the petitioner and file a report of such compliance before the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court on or before 31.12.2017.

4.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the aforesaid direction. No costs.
