PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the official Respondents Nos.1 to 8, to take immediate action to prevent the illegal installation of the wind turbine by the 9th Respondent in Survey No.741, Pirancheri Village, Manoor Taluk, Tirunelveli District. ORDER

The writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the official respondents to prevent the illegal installation of a wind turbine by the 9th respondent in S.No.741, Pirancheri Village, Mannoor Taluk, Tirunelveli District.

2.According to the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, though the 9th respondent was granted permission by the first respondent to install a wind turbine in a different place, in violation of the said order, the 9th respondent is attempting to install a wind turbine which is much closer to the property of the writ petitioner. Hence, the present writ petition. 3.Considering the above said facts, the fourth respondent herein is directed to inspect the spot and verify if the wind turbine is being installed as per permission granted by the first respondent or not. In case of violation, appropriate action shall be initiated by him. 3/6

4.With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. 22.05.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet: Yes/No RJR 4/6
