Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.03.2020. For Petitioner : Mr.D.Malaichamy For Respondents : Mr.M.Pandiya Rajan, Additional Government Pleader.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.03.2020.

2.According to the petitioner, his grandfather, namely, Palaniyandi has six children, by name 1.Karanathan, 2.Chellam, 3.Thangam, 4.Nallathambi, 5.Subramanian @ Raju and 6.Seeniammal. The petitioner is the son of the said Nallathambi. The said Palaniyandi had one brother, by name Kuppaiyandi, who died issueless long back. They owned property in Old S.No.1380/E measuring about 2 Acre 11 cents and in S.No.1384/C measuring about 2 Acres 52 cents in Batlagundu Village, which are now covered in New S.Nos.1088/3, 1/3

1094/1, 1094/2, 1094/3, 1094/4 and 1094/5 of the said village. In respect of the above property, the aforesaid persons are the legal heirs and they are entitled to get patta. On behalf of them, the petitioner has sent a representation dated 03.03.2020, seeking patta to the respondents and the same has been received by them on 04.03.2020. In response to the same, the first respondent has sent a communication dated 11.03.2020 to the 4th respondent to take necessary action and send a report. Since the petitioner has approached the 4th respondent several times in person with relevant documents, he has not taken any steps in this regard. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court seeking aforesaid prayer. 3.

This Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.03.2020, after affording opportunity to the petitioner as well as to the interested persons, within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. At the time of issuance of patta, the guidelines issued by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.13465 of 2020, dated 13.10.2020 and W.P.(MD)Nos.7746 of 2020 etc., batch dated 23.09.2020, have to be scrupulously followed.

4.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
