This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to measure the petitioner's lands in S.F.No.169 measuring to the extent of 21⁄2 cents, S.F.No.169/2 measuring about 1090 sq.ft. and S.F.No.169/2 measuring about 31⁄2 cents situated at Rajendhiram Village, Thiruvaiyaru Taluk, Thanjavur District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 11.08.2017. 2.The case of the petitioner is that he has given a representation dated 11.08.2017 to the respondents to measure and demarcate the above mentioned lands and the same is kept pending https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

without passing any orders. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that no rival claim is made or suit is pending with regard to the property in question.

5.Such being the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.08.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
