ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.SRIMATHY, J.) By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2.The grievance of the petitioners is that their representation dated 13.05.2025, seeking to permit the petitioners' village people to conduct the temple festival of Sri Kaliamman, Sri Mariamman, Sri Selva Vinayagar and Sri Mandekarpu situated at Molappadiyur Village from 03.06.2025 to 05.06.2025, has been kept pending without any progress. Hence, the petitioners have filed this Writ Petition seeking the aforesaid relief.
3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 2 and 3 submit that the representation of the petitioners will be 2/5
considered and appropriate orders will be passed on its own merits within a time frame stipulated by this Court.
4.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioners and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioners' claim either in the representation or in the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Petition, we direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 13.05.2025, after affording sufficient opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioners and other interested parties, if any and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
