O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents to take appropriate action on the petitioner's representation dated 11.01.2017 as per Circular No.67 dated 03.11.2011 of the 1st respondent in a time bound manner by way of cancelling the Document No.1248 of 2013.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent on either side, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he is the adopted son of one Paramasivam and Kunjammal and after their demise, he

inherited their family properties. While so, the son of his father's brother had fraudulently obtained patta in his name and executed the settlement deed dated 27.12.2013 in favour of his wife in connivance with R3. In this regard, the petitioner submitted a detailed representation to the respondents on 11.01.2017 for cancellation of the said document regarding the property belonging to him. Since the said representation has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that if a reasonable time is granted to the 2nd respondent, the representation of the petitioner will be considered and suitable orders passed.

5. In view of the above submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.01.2017 and pass necessary orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other interested parties, if any.

6. With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
